Archbishop Ignatius Kattey, who was kidnapped about a week ago, has been set free by his abductors. He was released at about 7pm yesterday, but the police could not disclose where he was set free. It was not ascertained whether my any ransom was paid.
The Police Public Relations Officer of Rivers State Police Command, DSP Angela Agabe, confirmed the release of the respected religious leader, but would not give any further details.
