Chinese Government, takes the law into its own hand, by shutting down the Nigerian private visa application centre in Beijing, China itself, saying they did not follow the due process, and , describing it as Illegal.
Though, the Chinese government had written a protest letter to the Nigerian Embassy in Beijing to communicate its disapproval , but, did not wait to get reapply from the embassy , before shutting down the place.
Some complained that, it wasn't proper for China to close the center itself, saying, they would have told the country to shut it down, instead of exercising their full authority on another country's property, that things like this can cause diplomatic row.
the spokesperson of the Nigerian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ogbole Ode, said he was not aware of the development.
“I am not aware. It is already midnight in China so there is no way to confirm now”, Ode said.
The center, was opened to make it easier for people to get easy access to Nigeria from China.
