ASUU strike, about to be a thing of the past, as the Vice president Namadi Sambo held a close- door meeting at the Presidential villa with the supervising education minister, Nyesom Nwike, some key ASUU staff members, and many Vice Chancellors of Nigerian Universities, in the bid to call of this menace call strike, as the students even fear to take their exams , saying there will be no much time to prepare, even for some that will be taking their degree exam in the second semester, fear that the rate of spill over will be much, and that can hinder many from going for NYSC or even make them pay extra school fees, one Mr Uchenna Nwakeke of the Imo State University, Owerri , when asked by one of our writer, says he prefers paying another house rent, rather than resisting for his degree exam or having a spill over. I wonder how students will cope on this strike saga, and when it will end. We pray ASUU, does it well for the benefit of both the students and their lecturers.
