APGA AND APC IN A LOCKDOWN BATTLE AFTER THE STAMPEDE IN A CRUSADE GROUND.

The stampede which took place in Anambara state, has generated chaos between APC and APGA in a very strong call to bring senator chris ngige to counter. The battle started when the National Chairman of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Chief Victor Umeh, made his own investigations and found out some supporters of senator chris ngige were at the crusade  ground, where these stampede occurred and he  immediately called on the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, to effect the immediate arrest of Senator Chris Ngige for his alleged role in the death of 24 worshippers at Holy Ghost Adoration arena at Uke Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Speaking to newsmen in Awka after the broadcast on the incident by Governor Peter Obi, the APGA chairman urged the police to arrest Ngige for allegedly instigating the pandemonium that ensued at the end of the crusade.
Umeh, who hinged his call on the actions of Ngige and his supporters wondered what his supporters were doing at the crusade ground with their party symbols consisting of brooms and posters of Ngige, if it was not part of a plot to cause confusion at the praying ground in search of cheap propaganda against him and his new candidate.

While on the other hand,
SENATOR LAI MOHAMMED of The All Progressives Congress (APC) has said that Governor Peter Obi of Anambra should be held responsible for the stampede at a vigil in Uke that left over 24 people dead, for turning a house of prayer into a house of politics.
In a statement issued in Lagos yesterday by its Interim National Publicity Secretary, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, the party said, “had Governor Obi and the unpopular candidate he is seeking to impose on the people of the state, Willie Obiano, not gone to the praying ground to engage in wrongful politicking, the innocent souls who died at the vigil would still be alive.”
It said while there was nothing wrong in a State Governor going to a vigil, such visit should not be impromptu in order for the organizers to make the necessary security arrangements, and it should also not be a licence to engage in political campaign.
The party condemned the plan by Governor Obi to set up a panel to investigate the stampede, considering that the Governor himself was at the centre of the whole tragedy.
‘’Setting up a panel to investigate the cause of the stampede will amount to seeking to be a judge in your own case. Saying, the case should be scraped, that this is another trick by the ruling party , to hide its own crime.
