ESUT Enugu State University of Science and Technology , and UNN, University of Nigeria, Nsukka warns student not to miss the 2nd December resumption date set for their academic call ender to continue again, after being truncated by the ASUU strike embarked upon by universities.
As, they have waited the federal government and ASUU, to resolve this one big tussle that will stabilise Nigerian tertiary institutions one and for all. The Registrar of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka , Mr Anthony Okonta, in a very plain statement, stressed that “normal academic activities would resume immediately.’’ not minding any ongoing agreement by the ASUU and FG.
Also the registrar of the ESUT Mr Chris Igbokwe, sounded it clear to the students and academic and non- academic staff to report to the institution on Dec. 2, and make sure not one day is delayed in bringing the academic activities back to normal in both the classes and campuses.
No one knows, if the registrars are afraid of getting sack by FG, come Dec 4, or they are simply missing some students cash that may fit perfectly in their pockets....lol...

Iran finally agrees to halt nuclear enrichment to some extent, after a four days tussle in Geneva, with the P5+1 Nations, wich comprises of the US, the UK, Russia, China, France and Germany , in exchange for up to $7bn (£4.3bn), sanction relief that has pilled up in Iran, since the past government of the Mahmoud Amedinejad, who has been stubborn on the west and thier policies.
Today, in Geneva, where the deal was struck, the chief Iranian negotiator and their foreign minister Mohammad Javad zarif, quickly took on twitter to announce the seeking of the deal.
After the whole agreement, the US secretary of state, John Kerry told the press that, the agreement, will not only make the region safe, but, will also ensure that no harm comes to their allies especialy Isreal. , But, Israel yet, has not agreed, as they still insist that Teheran, was using it to relief their self of some sanction, before proceeding with their own secrete intension.
Because of this development, President Barack Obama, on another warning, made it clear as he said
"This deal, includes a substantial limitations which will help prevent Iran from building a nuclear weapon".
And also added that,
" if Iran fail to keep its commitments, we will turn off the relief and ratchet up the pressure".
SPECIFICATIONS AND AGREEMENT TO IRAN BY THE P5+1 NATIONS.
1) Iran will stop enriching uranium beyond 5%, the level at which it can be used for weapons research, and reduce its stockpile of uranium enriched beyond this point
2) Iran will give greater access to inspectors including daily access at Natanz and Fordo nuclear sites
3) In return, there will be no new nuclear-related sanctions for six months
Iran will also receive sanctions relief worth about $7bn (£4.3bn) on sectors including precious metals.
ASUU IN A SECRETE MEETING IN AN UNDISCLOSED LOCATION WITH THE PRESIDENT.
The Academic Staff Union Of Universities( ASUU), after thier two-day National Executive Council Meeting (NEC) on Saturday in Kano which, nothing was disclosed to the public, has agreed to have a secrete meeting with the president at an undisclosed location, but, the PM news, was able to scoop out info from a reliable source in the association, who said ‘’ASUU has decided to meet with President Jonathan before making whatever decision they took during the meeting public.’’
The source also added that,
"The source added that 60 per cent of the members wanted the strike called off while the remaining 40 per cent wanted it to continue".
The NEC meeting was billed to hold two weeks ago but was postponed following the death of a former ASUU President, Professor Festus Iyayi in a road accident in Lokoja.
ASUU embarked on a national strike that has shut down all Nigeria’s government owned universities, since July.
The academics wanted government to implement an agreement reached in 2009, that would improve funding for infrastructure in the universities and welfare of the teachers.
