Incessant kidnappings has been witnessed more often in Bayelsa State, following the abduction of the 78-year old father of the Commissioner of Tourism Development, Nelson Belief, leaving the commissioner helpless and miserable, not to talk of the one where two were seized on Friday and they were , the wife of Chief Gbalipre Turner, the state treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), and his son, which took place at the family house in Opume, Ogbia Local Government Area, and it was subsequently confirmed by the Bayelsa Police Command.
