The supervising minister of education , min Nyesom Nwike, promises heads and boards of Nigerian universities that the fund promised by federal government, will be released by the end of the month.
The money 220 billion Naira, was promised to be injected annually into Nigerian universities, based on assessment reports and other needs, which is also a memorandum which the federal government and the academic staff union of universities ASUU, to end the five month old strike.
