River state senator, Senator Magnus Abe, in hospital after being shot a rubber bullet at a very close range in portharcorut during a oppositional rally today, at the river state College of Art and Science Rumola Portharcorut.
The bullet came, when the senator approached the scene of the rally, where police is trying to disrupt the bunch of students, who were paid to cause chaos and create turbulence withing the area, which could have coated lives, as some one who must have had hand in the rally, tried to support the youth, but the police had no option than to fire teargas and rubber bullets in order to avert further damages, not knowing that the senator cold get hit by rubber bullet.
The senator claimed that the shot was ordered by the River state police commissioner Joseph mbu, but , the police said it was only a political move to paint them bad, they have to do what they did to avoid further loss of lives in the state capital, as been witnessed all through the past months.
