The embattled PDP National Chairman has resigned. Alhaji Bamanga Tukur who has come under immense pressure to resign finally bowed to the pressure from the President and high party powers.
This news is coming on the back of unresolved by the National Cacus of the Party yesterday. The first lady is said to be rooting for appointment of Minister of Transport Senator Idris Umar as Tukurs sucessor but this has not come unopposed as Governors in the party are resisting the move, but, was later bared not to attend caucus meetings at the presidential villa again. More drama to unfold...........
